Under the banner of World Forum of Fisher Peoples (WFFP), the fisher peoples of the world are working together to
– protect fisher peoples’ livelihoods;
– uphold fishing, human and fundamental rights, social justice and community responsibilities;
– preserve and promote their cultures;
– affirm water as the source of all life; and
– sustain fisheries and aquatic resources for the present and for future generations.
